This rare and desirable group of Whiting's lithographs, which document locations and events surrounding the Mexican-American War, are considered some of the most accurate depictions of the United States' occupation of Mexico. Condition: Each lithograph has undergone some staining, especially along the perimeter; edge and corner wear to each lot, with some tears along the corners and edges as well as some loss; scattered spotting on each print.
