The first publication in a western language of Mendeleev's paper announcing the periodicity of elements - it was translated from the Russian by Felix Wreden, originally published in the Journal of the Russian Chemical Society, vol.3 pp.25-56. This was a more complete table than any previously compiled and the paper included descriptions and predictions of the properties of several undiscovered elements.
