Chancery 4° (196x140mm). Collation: a-e 8 f 4 g-h 8 i 4 k 8 l 4 m-o 8 p 4 q-t 8 v 4 x-z 8 8 (a1 title, a2r prologue, text, 8v blank). 172 leaves. 36 lines and headline. Type: 5:160G (title and headlines), 6:80G (text), printed guide-letters. 3- to 4-line initial spaces left blank, capital strokes and underlining in red. (Worming affecting some letters.) Early quarter calf over wooden boards blindstamped, rebacked in 18th-century pigskin, two leather spine labels, paper pressmark label, printed pastedowns (boards somewhat worm-eaten, missing single fore-edge clasp.) Provenance : Salzburg, Benedictine monastery of St. Peter, 18th-century inscription partly erased; Dr. Otto Kielmeyer, with his ex-libris stamp.
