The inscription "Alliance Israélite Universelle 1860-1910" surrounds the image. Narcisse Leven (1833-1915), an attorney and Jewish-French social activist, together with Adolphe Crémieux and others, founded the Alliance Israélite Universelle and served as its general secretary. During the years 1883-1898 served as vice president of Alliance Israélite Universelle, and in 1898 was appointed president. Diameter: 60 mm.
