Beschreibung:

Description The Maserati 300S was produced by Maserati between 1955–58, and competed in the FIA’s World Sportscar Championship. 28 examples of the cars were made in total. Stirling Moss said of the 300S…’a decently prepared 300S had a chassis which was infinitely superior to any front engined sports Ferrari, one of the easiest, nicest, best balanced sports racing cars ever made’… From the extensive collection of a long term Italian car collector and racer, this rear differential was commissioned to support chassis #3055, a well documented 300S which raced in period at Le Mans, Monza, Bari, Buenes Aires, Monthléry and the Nurburgring. After being rebuilt the item was supplied to the previous owner, but never fitted to the car. A very useful addition for any Maserati 300s owner/driver involved in historic motorsport.
