Royal seals in feathered black wax by the integral address (to Cardinal Coloredo) at left, eight lines of text in a secretarial hand, felicitation to "Votre affectionee Cousine" with signature below. Folding creases, very slight soiling. Not examined out of frame. This very attractive document, written by Maria as Queen of England and Consort to James II thanks Cardinal Colaredo for a letter sent in December of the previous year. Provenance: Gary E.
