MARX, Karl (1818-1883). Autograph letter signed ('K. Marx') to Collet Dobson Collet, n.p., 25 January 1863, in English, informing Collet that the papers he wanted are no longer in his possession, ('a fact which, I believe, I informed you of on a former occasion'), giving however a reference to the New York Tribune for a notice relating to the Russian ambassador, and concluding 'Mrs Marx's sickness now happily got over, prevented us assisting at Mr. Urqhuart's conversazione', one page, 8vo (178 x 113mm) , (minor browning and wear to left and lower margins), on paper with blind-stamped heading of Hammond's trade mark.
