MARINO MARINI Italy 1901-1980 Gentiluomo a cavallo Stamped with the raised initials 'M.M.' and with the foundry mark: 'Fonderia d'Arte Milano M.A.F.', on the base. Hand chiselled bronze with brown and green patina. Height 156 cm, length 130 cm, width 88 cm. Conceived in 1937 and cast in a numbered edition of three plus one artist's proof in the artist's lifetime.
