Dibdin, Coventry Patmore (to Truebners, announcing American publication of 'The Espousals', the second part of The Angel in the House, 1856), Felicia Hemans (written to her aunt and signed "F Browne" from Gwrych, shortly before her eighth birthday in 1801), Henri Bergson (on Spinoza), Thomas Campbell ("...The horrors of the Poles appear to be thickening. Their enemies are driving them out of patience into suicide. Above 5000 children from 3 to 8 years old have been torn from their parents – to people Siberia..."), Alexandre Dumas fils, Henry Mackenzie, Florence Baird Smith, née De Quincey (five letters, with references to her father and the "great pile" of his manuscripts), George Meredith, Fanny Trollope, J.
