Manufacturer: Disney Animation Cell Description: Original Walt Disney “Mickey Mouse” celluloid used in the production animation of “The Brave Little Tailor”. The image is of Mickey bothered by a swarm of bees, he protecting himself using fly swatters fixed in both hands, before him a coat is draped over a large wood block and is set over a hand painted backdrop. The original mat has “From The Brave Little Tailor” written in pencil, left corner. The mat opening measures 6 1/4 inches by 7 3/8 inches. Probably a two cell animation. Original frame measures 12 7/8 inches by 15 inches. A small Walt Disney sticker is on the back stating this cell was used in the actual filming. A gold Closson’s, Cincinnati sticker also resides. The cell has shrunk slightly from the mat. Two cell layers are visible. Excellent condition.
