Lot consist of (A) Winchester Model 1894 Theodore Roosevelt Commemorative lever action rifle with box. Made 1969. Standard markings on the left side of the barrel. "THEODORE ROOSEVELT COMMEMORATIVE" marked on the right side of the barrel. Winchester proof on the chamber. Standard embellishments on both sides of the frame, with saddle ring and stud on the left. Tang is marked "Theodore Roosevelt". Commemorative coin on the right side of the stock. Octagon barrel with blade front sight and buckhorn v-notch rear. Half length magazine tube. Frame and butt plate are nickel plated, with the balance of parts being blued. Oil finished wood stock and forearm. Includes original box, decorative sleeve and papers. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with general wear and some light scratches on the frame. There are a few freckles of light surface rust on the muzzle. Wood is excellent. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Looks to be unfired from the factory. Mechanically fine. Box has a few holes in the top. Sleeve has some rips on the edges. (B) Uberti Winchester Model 1873 Battle of Little Big Horn commemorative rifle. Made in Italy by Uberti and sold by Taylors & Co. Standard markings on the barrel. Frame is nicely scroll engraved and has portraits of those made famous at the battle on both side. Top of the tang is marked "MODEL 1873". Octagon steel barrel with blade front sight and buckhorn u-notch rear. Full length magazine tube. Frame, lever, forearm end cap and butt plate are gold washed, with the balance of parts being blued. Gloss finished wood stock and forearm. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its original finishes with little signs of use. Wood is excellent with a few minor handling marks. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine.
