Barrels are blue with full matted rib stamped "FRANZ SODIA, FERLACH". Has claw mount bases, flip-up rear sporting rifle sight and rifle front sight. Near mint bores. Finish is basically blue-grey patina with approximately 20% original blue with razor sharp edges and bottom barrel sling mount. Frame is finished in a satin nickel, exquisitely engraved in deep relief with antlered game on left side and decorated with scroll, right side of frame decoration with hare. Release lever is blued. Frame and trigger guard feature near-full coverage engraving. Maker stamp at base. Double set triggers, top tang selector and left side safety. Straight comb pistol grip checkered walnut stock with sling swivel applied. Franz Sodia original brown waffle recoil pad. The side panels are hand carved with oak leaf pattern and stippled background. Stock has a few minor rubs but is near mint with no cracks or chips. Walnut forend with Deeley release, satin finish and full engraving. Firearm has all matching numbers. Comes with an original Swarovski scope with claw mounts installed and leather carry case. Scope rear bell retains a majority of its blue, balance of the body is brown patina. Gun comes in a fitted leather and oak carry case with an outer green canvas protective case. Accessories include leather scope carry case with shoulder strap, set of RCBS 7x65R loading dies, 50 count bag of new Hornaday cartridge cases, and a full box of RWS 7x65R ammunition. A wonderful rifle of exquisite quality that could be brought back to as new condition with a quality rust bluing of barrels and scope tube and well worthy of this project.
