Strahan, 1796-1811. 6 volumes including Supplement bound in 5, 4° (284 x 220mm). Map frontispieces in vols. I, II and IV, title vignettes, dedication to Horace, Earl of Orford with vignette in vol. I, 3 folding tables, 82 engraved plates and plans, a few folding, a few with hand-colouring (some spotting and staining, a few tears). Contemporary half calf (worn, a few boards detached or detaching). Provenance : John Wightwick (armorial bookplate) -- Kipling Society bookplate. Upcott II, 914.

With 5 other topographical works in 6 vols. including City Scenes, or a Peep into London (London, 1828), James Wyld's A New Map of England & Wales (London, 1842, large folding engraved map in original wallet) and the Sussex section (pp.463-580) extracted from an early edition of Camden's Britannia , signed by 3 members of the Shelley family (Elizabeth ([n.d.]), Eleanor (1789) and Cordelia (1819)).
