LOUIS MAJORELLE (1859-1926) 'CHICOREE', A DINING SUITE, CIRCA 1905 comprising large sideboard, buffet and extending dining table, together with a set of six chairs by Louis Majorelle including two open armchairs, oak with burr-walnut, thuya and other marquetry veneer inlay, the marquetry doors also with abalone and copper insets, the bronze handles cast with grapes, the rear of the large sideboard with a repeat inlay motif flanked by shaped cupboards with bevelled glass, the small sideboard with a breche d'alep marble top large sideboard: 79 ¼ in.
