Collar, cuffs and rear skirt trimmed in gold braid. All buttons of regimental pattern. Dark blue wool trousers with red seam welt. A Scotts Guards Warrant Officer's scarlet dress tunic with dark blue facings trimmed in bullion with brass regimental buttons. A Lt. Colonel's doublet from the 48th Highlanders, scarlet with dark blue facings, regimental buttons and gold bullion shoulder knots and trim. A Major's doublet from the 48th Highlanders, scarlet with dark blue facings, regimental buttons and gold bullion shoulder knots and trim. The last piece is a civilian black wool Highland doublet with matching silk trim and buttons. A label on the lining is named to the original owner and dated "1913." Condition: Good to very good, some minor service and age wear with a few moth nips.
