First Edition. Bound with: Ovid's Epistles, Translated by Several Hands. London: for Jacob Tonson, 1693. Fifth Edition. 11 preliminary leaves, 1-253 [1], 3 leaves, 1-24 pages, 4 leaves plates 19.3 cm. All three 8vo volumes (7 1/2 by 4 5/8 inches) in uniform early paneled calf bindings with gilt titling labels to the spines. Each volume with the bookplate of Edward Squire. Condition: Bindings with scuffing and wear, heavier along the joints; contents show intermittent foxing/toning but generally clean and sound with plates also clean.
