Engraved bird's-eye view of Rome, 310 x 450mm.(Trimmed to image and window-mounted, very small loss to lower left corner.) VERY RARE, apparently unknown to either Frutaz of Tooley. Pirro Ligorio was an architect and a cartographer, this plan is very similar one of Ligorio's maps, published by Michele Tramezini in Rome in 1553 (Tooley 485, recording two copies only; Frutaz XVI).
