MAUNSELL VAN RENSSELAER AND ANNE GRANT TO ELIZABETH SCHUYLER HAMILTON, CONTAINING ACCOUNTS OF GENERAL SCHUYLER'S ACTIONS AFTER TICONDEROGA AND OF THE SCHUYLER FAMILY AT LARGE Autograph letter signed ("Maunsell Van Rensselaer"), 4 pages on a bifolium of mourning stationery (9 ¾ x 7 5/8 in.; 247 x 194 mm), Albany, 8 November 1845. — Autograph letter signed ("Anne Grant"), 4 pages on a bifolium of blue paper (9 x 7 1/2 in.; 229 x 191 mm), Edinburgh, Coates Crescent, 18 November 1834, containing childhood reminiscences of her time spent with the Schuyler family. And with: Autograph letter signed ("Elizth Hamilton"), 1 page (10 x 8 in.; 254 x 203 mm), New York, 24 August 1841, to Secretary of the Navy, George E. Badger, being a letter recommending a Mr. Guest for the position of Purser. All three tipped to larger sheets.
