Letter sent to the "heads, ministers and counts of the land" in the city of Livorno, with seven signatures of Sephardi Jerusalem rabbis and three stamps: R. Refael Meir Panigel, R. Yaakov Shaul Elyashar [the Yisa Beracha], R. Yosef Nissim Burla and others. Jerusalem, 1887. Written in elegant calligraphic writing. The letter contains a detailed report of the reception of the Italian crown prince "Victor Emanu El" [Vittorio Emanuele III, later King of Italy] on his visit to Jerusalem: "And we exited the walls of Zion to greet him, Sephardi and Ashkenazi rabbis… and we set up an arch with all types of beautiful decorations… and we set up an elaborate tent with fancy chairs and drapes and silver ornamentation… And His Majesty the Prince arrived and stopped his chariot there, and the Rishon L'Zion, the first signee below, and his deputy the Yisa Beracha, the second signee, stood at the entrance to the tent… and Jewish children sang with lovely voices… On Shabbat… he sent his deputy to visit the great and famous Rabban Yochanan ben Zakai Synagogue… and we honored him greatly… the song which was composed in honor of His Majesty the Prince sung by Jewish children".
