This copy once belonged to noted French mathematician and engineer Gaspard de Prony, with his inkstamp at bottom of title page. Lot Amendments Condition: Boards worn at edges and extremities, spine rubbed with ends chipped; else very good, quite clean and fresh internally, untrimmed and in the original state.
