LASCARIS, Constantinus (1534?-1501). Grammaticae institutiones unà cum aliorum quibusdam opusculis . Venice: P. & G.M. dei Nicolini da Sabbio for Melchior Sessa, 1550. 8°. Woodcut device on title, text in Latin and Greek (fore-margin of first few leaves a little frayed, a few later marginalia, some light spotting). 18th-century Italian vellum, title in gilt on spine (a trifle rubbed and soiled). Provenance : L.A. Burd (armorial bookplate). GISELINUS, Victor (1543-1591). Epitomes adagiorum omnium quae hodie ab Erasmo, Iunio, et aliis collecta exstant, pars altera . Antwerp: Christopher Plantin, 1566. 8°. Woodcut device on title (occasional light browning). Contemporary limp vellum (lacks ties, split in upper hinge). Provenance : inscription dated 1574 on an endpaper - J. Mitford, 1805 (signature on another endpaper) - L.A. Burd (armorial bookplate). Adams G743. And 5 others including 3 on grammar. (7)
