Lot consists of miscellaneous US Marine Corps and US Navy related pieces of ephemera that date from the World War I era through post-World War II era. The lot includes some issues of "Life" magazine, issues of "Leatherneck" magazine, Marine Corps hymn books, several photographs of ships, opened boxes and bags of vintage tobacco, toiletries, buttons, smoking accessories, and more. The ship photos include wonderful snapshots of the USS Texas. There are also 2 small paper groupings. One grouping is named to Eugene Rosenberg who was a sailor in the US navy. The group mostly includes service documents and other papers related to his civilian and military life. There is another small group from D.R. Sheaff, which includes a letter noting action of how he received the Distinguished Service Cross at Belleau Wood. There is also a picture of Sheaff in which he is wearing his uniform and medals.
