In 2011, an almost 'wild' nose, hawthorn and honey, vanilla and violets, orange and oregano. Then crushed hazelnuts. Candied lemon on the palate, again with buttered toast on the lingering aftertaste. Fizzing with ginger and allspice. So winey. Tasted again in New York in 2015 and disgorged in 2014.
