A New Collection of Voyages, Discoveries and Travels: Containing Whatever is worthy of Notice, in Europe, Asia, Africa and America: in respect to the Situation and Extent of Empires, Kingdoms, and Provinces; their Climates, Soil, Produce, &c. With the Manners and Customs... I-VII. London (printed for J. Knox) 1767. 8:vo. 49 partly folding maps, plans, and plates (all, minor foxing, some offsetting from plates to text). Contemporary brown full calf, worn, gilt edges of covers, 2 volumes with cracks in upper joints, otherwise some mended cracks, somewhat faded richly gilt spines, some damages at head, yellow edges. A few leaves browned in the margins. On some last endpapers stamped "Webster Collection". Bookplate of "Torquay Natural History Society. Presented by Captain Bower Jan. 1935". 7 volumes. First edition.
