Kennedy, John Fitzgerald (1917-1963) Signed Photograph, Signed Bumper Sticker, and Two Framed Items. Black and white photograph of Kennedy sitting in a white convertible Lincoln Continental with the top down, talking with James E. Webb (1906-1992) to whom the photo is inscribed, "To James Webb with esteem and warm regard of his friendship, John Kennedy " the two are accompanied by a military man (likely General Leighton I. Davis), while members of the press, secret service agents, and other military figures in uniform are arrayed behind them; good condition, rubber stamp in black ink on verso reads, "White House Photograph, Nov. 17, 1963" [punctuation added] 8 x 10 in. [with] A red, white, and blue Kennedy for President bumper sticker, the wax paper backing still intact, with Kennedy's signature, 8 3/4 x 3 3/4 in.; a framed black and white photograph of a blooming magnolia in front of the White House, 19 1/2 x 15 1/4 in.; and a triptych of photographs of the Aaron Shikler portraits of John and Jacqueline Kennedy, matted and framed, 32 1/2 x 19 1/4 in. (4) James Webb was the second Administrator of NASA, serving from 1961 to 1968. The landscape and cast of characters in the photograph suggest that this photograph was taken at Cape Canaveral.
