Collotype on paper hand-coloured with watercolour, 27.3 x 21 cm N.B.: Karel Appel and Hugo Claus collaborated in late 1950, when both were living in Paris, on a set of 7 illustrated poems. These were published in the so-called Hand-series of the Cobra-library, titled 'De blijde en onvoorziene week'. These prints were subsequently hand-coloured by Karel Appel At that time the booklet could be pre-ordered for the small amount of three guilders. Unfortunately there were only three subscribers in total, while the total edition was one of 200 copies.
