Karaku saiken tzu 'Glimpses of the City of Flowers (Kyoto)', volumes 3 & 4 (of 15) only, 1704, woodblock printed, illustrated throughout, some dust-soiling and occasional minor worming, bound concertina style, original blue wrappers, rubbed and scuffed, original printed labels to upper cover of each, 25 x 17cm (10 x 6.75ins), together with Kagen (Murata, ?-1849) , Ogasawara daishorei shu taisen 'A Book of Etiquette of Ogasawara', part 2 (books 4-9) only, bound as one, Osaka: Rihei, 1826, woodblock printed, ten illustrations (including six double-page), few marginal wormholes, contemporary ownership inscription to front pastedown, original green paper wrappers, rubbed and scuffed, original printed label to upper cover, resewn, 26.5 x 19cm (10.5 x 7.5ins), plus Settei (Tsukioka, 1710-1771) , Onna buyu yoso-oi kurabe 'Mirror of Valiant Women', 3 volumes, 1757, woodblock printed, illustrated, some worm damage throughout, original blue paper wrappers, printed label to upper cover of each volume, sewing loose, 27 x 18cm (10.5 x 7ins), plus three other volumes of Japanese printed books, including some odd volumes (9)
