The album commences with a manuscript account, written while John Gaham was staying at Rottingdean. He refers to trips to Brighton and Eastbourne with the Misses Harper and more strenuous excursions to Worthing, Arundel, Hastings, Battle, Crowhurst and Bexhill with a Mr Sharpe????
