restoration and infilling to the malachite band, particularly, on the proper left side (approximately 70% of the vertical band on this side is infilled and overpainted to resemble malachite); some cracks to other portions of the malachite band; there is a somewhat large chip loss to the black marble on the proper right corner on the rear side and small loss to this front corner tip; small nicks and chips to the black marble outer rim edges; very small (pinhead size) area of black colored infilling at the rim edge where there is contact with the top oval rim edge of the micromosaic sky (located approximately at the one o'clock position); the central micromosaic scene and surrounding area appears to be in good condition; not blacklighted
