Italian Baroque Walnut Writing Cabinet Genoese, Late 17th/early 18th century The rectangular molded top above a leafage carved frieze with a central grotesque mask and fall front writing lid opening to reveal an interior fitted with small drawers, ending in a conforming base. Height 25 1/2 inches (65 cm), width 33 inches (84 cm), depth 13 inches (33 cm).
Large crack in fall front. Replaced escutcheon. Something missing under the fall front. Usual wear and tear.
