Italian silver sugar bowl - Rome 1815-1832, mark of DOMENICO ARCIERI of circular shape, resting on three leafy feet, the plain body decorated with palmettes; the lid, strongly duomed, with the same decoration as the body and topped by an imposing final with three sepents. Fully hallmarked Rome after 1815, 10 ounce and 16 denari silver standard (889/1000) and with the mark "D71A" corresponding to the silversmith Domenico Arcieri who worked from 1800 to 1832 (Ref. Costantino Bulgari, Roma parte prima, p 32 and p 68 nr 188 and 189). Height 23 cm, diameter 10 cm. Weight 525 g. Item condition grading: **** good.
