Irving (Washington). A History of the Life and Voyages of Christopher Columbus, 4 volumes, Paris, A. & W. Galignani, 1828, large folding engraved map of the West Indies and South America to first volume, and folding engraved map of the North Atlantic Ocean to second volume (small repair without loss to inner margin), some light scattered spotting, contemporary uniform full calf, gilt decorated spines with black morocco title and volume labels, small 8vo, together with [Exquemelin, A.O.]. The History of the Bucaniers of America, 2 volumes, 5th edition, printed for T. Evans and W. Otridge, 1774, occasional marks, first and last few leaves with some marginal browning, contemporary calf, with Signet Library gilt stamp to covers of each volume, heavily rubbed and marked, 12mo, plus Folsom (George). History of Saco and Biddeford, with notices of other early settlements, and of the proprietary governments, in Maine, including the provinces of New Somersetshire and Lygonia, Saco, printed by Alex C. Putnam, 1830, single lithographic view, single-page map, and one facsimile plate, some light browning and occasional staining, contemporary calf, rubbed and a little wear to joints and extremities, and two others related: [Thomas Peregrine Courtenay], Letters of Decius, in answer to the criticism upon the political account of Trinidad; and upon the defence of the crimes of Governor Picton, in the Anti-Jacobin Review, under the title of the "Pictonian Prosecution", printed and sold by John Morton, 1808, & E. Montule, A Voyage to North America, and the West Indies, in 1817, printed for Sir Richard Phillips and Co., 1821, both 8vo (Qty: 9)
