Level: 3cm A most remarkable wine, the best of all the old Inglenooks I had the privilege of tasting in the 1970s at various Heublein pre-sale tastings. Admittedly, my last note is rather old (made in 1979) but it was so sound that I am sure it has survived; a lovely mahogany colour like an old vintage port; and old but distinctly varietal pinot nose; dry but rich, complete, beautiful balance.
