Of cylindrical form with shaped columnar handle, the body decorated with stylized cockerels flanking a tree within bands of brightly colored geometric motifs and turquoise beaded borders on a stippled gilt ground. Hallmarked Moscow circa 1896, Cyrillic maker's mark OVCHINNIKOV beneath the Imperial warrant, and 88 silver standard. An exceptional example. Height 3.5 inches (8.6 cm). Total weight 10 troy ounces.
