1. [GERMAN EXPRESSIONISM.] Der Spiegel: Jahrbuch des Propyläen Verlages. Berlin: 1924. 4to. Original signed etching by Lovis Corinth numerous photographic plates reproducing German Expressionist art. Publisher's pictorial boards designed by Emil Orlik custom clamshell case. One of 100 copies.
2. MAGRE, MAURICE. La Nuit de haschich et d'opium. Paris: Ernst Flammarion, 1929. Small 4to. 5 Color woodcuts by Ahü, tissue guards, several vignettes in text. Publisher's cream wrappers with cover ornament in blue, navy and tan. Light age toning. Warm presentation by the author to Pierre de Jumilhac, a French race horse breeder. Number 296 of 750 copies on vélin, from a total edition of 890.
3. ROY, PIERRE. Cent Comptines, illustrées de 45 bois gravés et coloriés par Pierre Roy Paris: Henri Jonquiéres et Cie., 1926. 4to. 45 color pochoir illustrations. Later orange morocco and batik-covered boards, publisher's color pictorial wrappers bound in. One of 540 copies on Arches paper. A collection of rhymes for children, illustrated by Pierre Roy who was among the Surrealist painters who exhibited in 1925, along with Arp, di Chirico, Ernst, Man Ray, and Miro.
4. VOX, MAXIMILIEN. Panorama des XII mois de l'an. Paris: Librarie Lutetia, 1920. 12mo. Folding panorama of 12 color plates by Maximilien Vox (pseudonym of Samuel Monod, writer, illustrator, and critic). publisher's color illustrated card wrappers, string tie. Limited edition, 1 of 250 copies.
5. Das neue Narrenschyff [Narrenschiff] von Sebastian Brant dem Jüngeren. Vienna: Journalisten- und Schriftstellerverein "Concordia," printed by Brüder Rosenbaum, 1911. 12mo. Illustrations throughout by various artists, including Alexander Goltz, Theo Zasche Josef Engelhart and others. Publisher's pictorial wrappers bound with ribbon into a pictorial red morocco case with metallic ribbons, designed by Josef Hoffmann Published as a souvenir of the Vienna Secession "Concordia" ball of 1911.
