Complete with 48 plates numbered 1-50 including two double-page, after Iacovleff. Text in Chinese-style binding of yellow cloth with black thread, upper side printed in black. The plates, loose as issued, together with the text volume in the original vellum portfolio with the original closures, the upper side printed in red (vellum discoloured, one catch torn but present).

ONE OF ONLY 150 COPIES , this one numbered 141. Published following two trips to the Far East, where Iacovleff first travelled in 1917, first to Beijing then to Mongolia.
