(Small repair at lower margin in first 12 and final 6 leaves, fo. 10 trimmed at lower margin and rehinged, several headlines shaved, small wormholes in final quires, and faint dampstain at lower corner of first few quires.) Early 20th-century brown morocco tooled with concentric panels of individual stamps imitating an early 16th-century style, spine lettered in gilt, gilt edges. Provenance : a few early deletions in accordance with the new religion; C.W. Dyson Perrins (signature dated 1904, booklabel, sale Sotheby's, 5 November 1946, lot 473, £70 to Foyle).
