First Edition. Detailed political history for the period 1821-1833. Although the author intended to bring the narrative to 1848, it stops abruptly in 1833. History of the early years of independent Mexico, including the Empire of Augustin de Iturbide and subsequent internal wars. It also includes news about the beginning of the war against the Texans. A few old circular rubberstamps of Salvador Mota Velasco, Ingeniero; remains from removed bookplate.
