The book explains the specifications of the airship, its crew, and the accommodations offered. An excerpt of the book explains it was published to commemorate the inauguration of the Transatlantic Airship Transportation by the Hindenburg for the Navy Relief Society New Jersey Auxiliary. Almost exactly a year later after its first flight into Lakehurst the Hindenberg suddenly burst into flames, killing 36 people.
