[Westminster]: William Caxton [between 2 July and 20 November 1482]. Two single leaves, chancery 2° (268 x 197mm). Bastarda type 4:95. 40 lines and headline. Contemporary manuscript rubrication: 2-, 4- and 7-line initials in red, one with printed and MS guide-letter, paragraph marks in red, one contemporary marginal annotation (slightly trimmed). (Small wormhole in one leaf.) Framed and glazed. Two very attractive leaves (fos. Lxxi and Cxxv) from the FIRST EDITION of the Polycronicon in English, printed by England's first printer.
