First Sarrasin edition. Text in Latin and Greek; 2 engraved portraits. Adams D-658; NLM/Durling 1137 and 1168. "Rara Editio," early inscription on upper pastedown; initial "B" within circle on upper pastedown; Dr. E. Güntz, early signature on front endpaper; Est Bibliotheca S. Euphemiae Veronae/...Aloysy Balladoro Veron, bookplate on title verso; Caietanus Bevilaqua Veronae, stamp on title verso; KKM/HSNY, bookplate -- MATTIOLI, PIETRO ANDREA.
