A Hepplewhite game table in mahogany with pine secondary, having a rectangular fold-over top with bifurcated edges supported by a rear gateleg, above a single, dovetailed frieze drawer fitted with a stamped, lion's-head brass pull and surrounded by cockbeading on the case, the bottom edge of the frieze featuring a band of dark and lightwood inlay, all rising on square and tapered legs with line inlay; ht. 31.5, wd. 38, dp. 17.5 in. (closed). Provenance: Property from the Estate of Kathryn M. West, Waterford Farm, Midway, KY Condition: Surface wear and imperfections as would be expected with age and use, including some nicks and scuffs. When closed, right rear corner of top with some deeper scratches and an elliptical stain/scuff mark on left side. Small repair to banded inlay and surrounding veneer on left frieze panel near back gateleg. Drawer with a tiny veneer patch to upper left corner. Front right leg with a spot of veneer distress on interior side and a small chip near foot. Back of case with some worming.
