HENRY, LORD PALMERSTON (1784-1865); BENJAMIN DISRAELI, EARL OF BEACONSFIELD (1804-81) & ARTHUR WELLESLEY, DUKE OF WELLINGTON (1769-1852) Three autograph letters signed ("Palmerston"), together 4½ pages, 8°, 25 May 1827 to 3 December 1850, in French, the first to Count Moritz Dietrichstein, Austrian ambassador, asking about the road of the Prince of Lucca, the second to Baron de Koller advising him to take the convoy from Waterloo to Romsey, and a fly to [Broadlands], and to come to dine there, the third commenting on arrangements with Almaty, and the intervention of Austria and Prussia in Hesse and Holstein, and saying there is no war at the moment. Autograph letter signed ("B. Disraeli") to "My dear Baron [?de Koller]," 3 pages, 8°, Grosvenor Gate, 26 June 1850, inviting him to call on him and discuss the debate in the House of Commons. Autograph letter signed ("Wellington") to Baron de Koller, one page, 8°, London [n.d.], asking him to inform Prince Esterhazy of his gratitude for the collection of coloured engravings for the Audience Room at Stratfield Saye. He will place them there at one. (5)
