Publisher's half maroon calf, top edges gilt; joints rubbed on both vols., upper joint starting on vol.1, loss to leather to head of spine of same, calf corners a little rubbed or scuffed. Full blue morocco, gilt armorial of the Lonsdale Library on upper cover, plain, unprinted blue dustwrapper and original publisher's card box with printed paper label; minor spotting to deckle edges, lower cover slightly spotted, jacket with closed tears, box splitting at one corner.
