GROUP OF TWELVE BASEBALLS, ELEVEN SIGNED Group of twelve baseballs consisting of five team signed, five single- signed, one double-signed and one unsigned baseballs. Among the team balls are four Official American League baseballs including a 1981 Yankees with twenty-three signatures, a 1987 Yankees with twenty-eight signatures, a 1991 Yankees with twenty-five signatures, and a 1989/90 White Sox baseball with twenty-six signatures. Signers include: Rickey Henderson, Reggie Jackson, Dave Winfield and Carlton Fisk. The fifth ball is an Official Little League ball with twenty-nine signers from the 1985 Yankees including Ken Griffey, Sr., Don Mattingly and Billy Martin. The 1981 Yankees ball is in excellent condition but exhibits some slight discoloration. A few signatures are light but legible averaging 7/10. The 1987 and 1991 Yankees balls and (89/90) White Sox ball are near mint white with dark signatures averaging 9/10. The 1985 Yankees ball is in excellent to mint grade with all signatures at least grading an excellent 7/10. The other signed baseballs unless noted otherwise are all near mint white official American Leaque baseballs with near mint ink signatures. Carlton Fisk on the sweet spot written with the date "72" for his rookie year; Jim Catfish Hunter signed on the sweetspot of an Official 1987 All Star baseball, underneath a date stamp indicating "Hall of Fame July, 27, 1987." Ball is slightly discolored from handling. Bo Jackson personalized "To Danny-8/17/91" on the sweet spot using blue sharpie; Don Mattingly signed Best Wishes on a seperate ball panel; Phil and Joe Niekro signed together on a seperate ball panel of a slightly discolored ball, and Nolan Ryan on the sweetspot. The unsigned ball is an official 1981 World Series ball in excellent condition. (12)
