This copy is in the prize binding of the Edinburgh Angus Club - tan morocco spine, gilt-lettered on brown label with blind rules and brown calf sides with gilt-embossed lettering and coat of arms. Plain endpapers with printed and inscribed prize certificate to the front paste-down, engraved b/w frontispiece, decorative and illustrative gilt, red, green and black title-page ("Goldsmith's Poetical Works"), second title-page ("Goldsmith's Choice Works") in black only, contents pages, engraved portrait of Goldsmith, Goldsmith's life by Thomas Finlayson (pp 11-26), followed by the Vicar of Wakefield and other works (pp 27-464). CONDITION. At least Very Good, complete, unmarked and undiscoloured, with light edge-rubbing to the boards. Binding Condition: Very Good Overall Condition: Very Good Size: 165 x 120
