His son Nicolas joined him in 2009 and between them they manage seven wines: Bourgogne Rouge, Cote de Nuits Village, Gevrey Chambertin, Vieilles Vignes, Gevrey Chambertin Les Corbeaux, Gevrey Chambertin Les Evocelles, Charmes Chambertin and 5 -6 barrels of Aligote. The philosophy here is to produce wines which are great examples of the appellation with great ageing potential. Great care is taken in the vineyard with an eye to keeping very old vines in production- indeed the small amount of Charmes Chambertin produced here(regularly under 200 cases) comes from vines which are 100 years old. The latest addition to the Domaine is Gevrey Chambertin Les Evocelles with 3 barrels produced for the first time in 2012. Quantity: 1
