MP-38 / MP-40 parts kit manufactured during World War II. Components include an MP-40 pattern "fxo / 31" marked lower assembly, 2 sections of an MP-38 saw-cut receiver assembly, barrel, MP-38 pattern front sight, aluminum resting bar, MP-38 pattern magazine well housing, MP-38 pattern bolt with permanently attached curved cocking handle, sling loop, rear sight assembly, as well as period leather sling stamped "135" on the steel slide buckle. CONDITION: Metal components showing varying degrees of wear overall. Lower assembly retains a grey patina and barrel shows wear through to grey patina overall. Bolt assembly is excellent, retaining large amounts of its blue finish. Bore is bright, exhibiting light oxidation and some scattered spots of deep pitting, but otherwise retains good rifling throughout. Bakelite components show wear and scattered handling marks, but otherwise are sturdy and serviceable. Leather sling is very good overall. MLW
