American, 19th Century. A Federal-style, memorial mirror with reverse painted panel showing a central memorial urn bearing the initials "G.W." on its base, for George Washington. The urn is flanked by American flags as well as red and blue painted flags, a drum, and assorted weaponry. 16.5 x 30 in. Condition: The lower mirror section looks to be a more recent replacement. Outer frame is gold painted wood and shows slight wear with slight chipping.
