Leather case with gussets, gilt brass latch and opening, decorated with a plaque with the image of King George VI and his wife Queen Elizabeth.
It contains an enamelled chrome bronze radiator mascot by Smith, which reads: "Crowned GR VI ER, May 1937". The three holes in the back are for British flags which are found fixed in the lid of the box.
It also contains three decks of cards: one of the Coronation itself by Waddington in London, one of the Queen by De La Rue in London and one of the King by the same manufacturer, new, never opened. Total height of the mascot with cap and flags: 28 cm.
